Damarli Estate

David and Lia Pech have owned the Damarli Estate since 1996. The estate is located between Palmira Arriba and Volcancito in the Boquete Valley at an elevation of 1450-1500m. It sits west of the Volcan Baru and faces toward the Pacific Ocean in the south. Boquete Valley is one of the driest microclimates of Boquete, making it one of the most diverse coffee regions in Panama, with deep volcanic sandy clay soil. The Damarli Estate is a total of 18 hectares, with 12 hectares under coffee cultivation and 6 hectares still preserved as primary forest, which protects the drying beds from strong northeast trade winds, making it an ideal site to dry and process coffee.
