Some items in our store may be offered to you as a subscription, a pre-order or try before you buy. This cancellation policy lays out how you can change or cancel these kinds of purchases.

Subscriptions

Welcome to Domestique Coffee! By subscribing to our service, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Domestique Coffee website and services.

1. Subscription and Billing

By signing up for a coffee subscription, you agree to a recurring billing cycle. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each subscription period unless you cancel it in accordance with these Terms.

  • Payment: You authorize Domestique Coffee to charge your payment method for the subscription fee and any applicable taxes and fees on a recurring basis until you cancel.

  • Billing Cycle: The billing cycle is based on the subscription plan you select. You will be billed on the day you sign up, and subsequent billing dates will be based on this initial date.

  • Price Changes: Domestique Coffee reserves the right to change the subscription price. We will provide you with at least 30 days' notice of any price change.

2. Product Availability and Substitutions

We strive to ensure all products listed on our website are in stock and available for your subscription. However, due to the nature of sourcing specialty coffee, some products may become temporarily or permanently unavailable.

  • Substitution Policy: In the event that a selected coffee is out of stock, Domestique Coffee reserves the right to automatically substitute the unavailable product with a similar or the closest possible alternative. This substitution will be based on factors such as coffee origin, roast profile, flavor notes, and price to ensure a comparable experience. We will make reasonable efforts to inform you of any such substitution.

3. Shipping and Delivery

  • Shipping: We will ship your coffee to the address you provide during the subscription process. You are responsible for ensuring your shipping information is accurate and up-to-date.

  • Delivery Times: Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to factors outside of our control. We are not liable for any delays in delivery.

  • Lost or Damaged Shipments: If your coffee shipment is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us immediately to resolve the issue.

4. Cancellations, Pauses, and Returns

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account page. Cancellations must be made before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the next shipment.

  • Pausing: You may also pause your subscription for a specified period through your account settings.

  • Returns: Due to the perishable nature of coffee, we do not accept returns. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us, and we will work with you to find a satisfactory solution.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Domestique Coffee website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Domestique Coffee and is protected by intellectual property laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Domestique Coffee shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your use of or inability to use the service; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; or (c) any content obtained from the service.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Alabama, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Pre-orders
When you purchase a pre-order, you are buying an out-of-stock or soon-to-be-available product not yet in inventory. We may collect no payment or a partial deposit at checkout, store your payment method, then fulfill and charge the full or remaining payment at a future date.
You can cancel a partially paid pre-order order that has not yet been fulfilled. If the order has been fulfilled, then you can't cancel the order, but you can request a full or partial refund. See our returns policy for more details on returns and refunds.
Try before you buy
When you purchase a try before you buy item, we authorize your payment method before fulfilling the order. You will have a certain amount of time to decide if you want to keep the item. Once the time period has passed, if you have not returned the item, we will charge your payment method for the full amount.
