Equipment List

  1. Ratio Six Brewer & Filter (Flat Bottom or #4)
  2. Fresh Coffee Beans
  3. Grinder
  4. Filtered Water
  5. Scale

Average Brew Time: 5-7.5 minutes

Step 1

Fill the tank to your desired level with cold filtered water.

  • Full Batch: 8 'cups'/44oz
  • Half Batch: 4 'cups'/22oz

Step 2

Put your cone filter in the top of the carafe. Feel free to pre-wet the filter and carafe with hot water, just remember to empty the carafe before brewing.

Step 3

Measure your coffee beans (70g for full-batch, 35g for half-batch) and grind to medium size. Place ground coffee in the filter.

Step 4

Begin brewing by pressing the start button. The machine will time its water output to allow the coffee to “bloom” and then brew, similarly to a manual pour over.

The machine will indicate it is “Ready” when the brew cycle has ended. Remove the carafe and discard the filter and grounds. The machine will turn off automatically once the carafe is removed.
